How great would it be to right-click and insert an arpeggio pattern to the MIDI editor? Aeolian on the forum came up with this very cool trick, did the work to implement it and shared the results with the community. This is a really cool user-created addition to the REAPER MIDI editor.

Each file has to be imported separately.
Installation instructions
- Open REAPER
- Choose “Customize Menus/Toolbars…” from Options menu
- Choose “MIDI Piano Roll Context” from the dropdown
- Click “Import…” and choose “chords_scales_arps.ReaperMenu”
- Close the Menu editor
- In REAPER’s Actions menu, choose “Show Action List”
- Change the Action List section to “MIDI Editor”
- Click “Import” from the Import/Export dropdown and choose “chords_scales_arps.ReaperKeyMap”
To use these, just right-click and select an option from the new “Insert Chord”; “Insert Scale”; or “Insert Arpeggio” menus. The MIDI notes will be entered at the edit cursor.
