I have a short video today to show you how to set up TouchOSC on an iPhone to control Reaper’s mixer and transport over wifi. The TouchOSC app is well worth the $4.99 spent. It was easy to set up even for someone with no experience with OSC like myself.
You can also use TouchOSC to send MIDI to Reaper, that’s a little more complicated and will be covered in another tutorial.

I just downloaded TouchOSC, installed it, connected the computer, and got it running with Reaper 4… sweet. Thanks for the tutorial!
What about the Android TouchOSC app? Which layout setting should I use with which Reaper setting?
I had a report from one user that TouchOSC wasn’t working on their Droid. I would try all the available templates and see if any of them work with yours.
I tried Touch OSC with Reaper today… It did not work.
I installed the Touch OSC Bridge. The droid version is a measely 1.3. The website states Touch OSC should be at least 1.8 for Bridge to be supported. I hope they will catch up soon on “the droid”.
Oh yes.. I like the look of this. I have my V-drums set up in another room and this will be great for recording from there no running back and forth tripping over midi and headphone cables . Cheers Jon
