Very interesting video about that topic.
I would like to find something called ‘tape whatever’ but I couldn’t find.Because I’m not very familiar with all those things I can’t really find what it brings (or not) and where the subtle differences.
Could you explain what they add and where to listen to (and by the culprits what are their culprits too)?Thanks a lot in advance.

Great video, but man is it a subtle effect. I still gotta train my ears to notice those kinds of things. I’m almost there.

In general terms, (tape) saturation can enhance the highs and lows. Whereas distortion can enhance the mids. YMMV.
