do you know if Elastique v3 is something that is inherent in the engine, or does is act like a VST? I mean, right now, REAPER has some time stretching ability by hold ALT and dragging i think?? (windows), but is that engine being replace by this Elastique v3 automatically?

Elastique V3 is the latest version.

“élastique V3 will feature a highly improved transient preservation even at high stretching ratios while maintaining it’s known real-time capabilities. It also introduces the new infiniStretch feature allowing stretch ratios up to infinity which will open up new possibilities for sound design and creative DJ-ing.”

I just added a screenshot of the stretch algorithm options. Each one sounds different but you’ll most likely want to change your default to V3 Pro.

thanks I’ll give it a shot when I get home. I have a half note that I want to stretch out to a whole note and the results up until know have been “meh”. Hoping this will sound better.

btw, are you guys still doing the podcast??

I do not like stretching past a rate of 0.7, but haven’t tried the new engine yet.

We’re pretty behind on making episodes, combination of being busy with work and lazy. I should just schedule a bunch of interviews and do them all in 2 days again. We have a couple segments from listeners ready to go.
