Well not really exciting, or very interesting. But you have to admit, it is extremely important. I’ve received dozens of messages about REAPER misbehaving (and countless more on the forums) that are solved with a simple option toggle in the preferences window.
Brew some coffee, sign out of Facebook and put your phone on silent for the next 90 minutes. Give this your full attention.

Pro Tip: Under the settings/gear icon you can adjust playback speed. Watching these sorts of videos sped up can save a ton of time.
I really like the way Reaper looks in these videoes (best example “config track defaults”) – particularly the mixer layout. Is this layout custom or available, or mac only?

Wow haha – I think then, visually, itll be the daw for others to follow. Can I ask if there is anywhere you know that I can read about v5? Mr. Gioia has beta then, I presume?
beta is public but not advertised, technically it’s not supposed to be shown or discussed outside of the pre-release subforum.
There’s a lot of great stuff in v5 so far. I’m using both 4.77 and 5.0pre21 on my system.
