I had a couple people ask me this week about how to get the toolbar and media explorer on the sides of the mixer in the dock. Find out the trick in this video.

Thanks, but I gave up. Can’t arrange FX/Media browsers and Mixer vertical side by side at the right, only horizontal (from top to bottom) 🙁 I’m on Windows 10. Would you mind to share your reaper.ini with dockers arranged?

Copy everything from [Sset 2] to [Sset 3] and paste into your own.

Jon, thank you very much for your efforts, but it not helping me – mixer and browser both stacked below the arrange. By the way, I’ve found kinda FR about more dock positions: http://bit.ly/1M9rf3n I would bump that topic and refer to your post, If you do not mind.

I’ve had the same issue(s). I can’t seem to get toolbars on just the lower half of the right or left side, and other oddities like that. I see screen shots of other users screen layouts, and it’s been almost impossible replicating some of them.

I seriously cannot get this to work. Like in your vid, my tool bar ends up covering the mixer. You flick your mouse around and yours is fixed(lmao).

This great, and it helps, but one more question; Is there a way to make the media explorer window, when docked on the right, narrower? Ideally I’d like to be able to just see my media items in a vertical list regardless of the playback control options at the bottom. I wan’t to conserve my track real-estate if I can

Ideally I’d like to be able to nest them in drop down folders, but I understand that’d be a big ask.
