Sometimes you’ll run into audio files that just look weird. They don’t sound wrong but they don’t look right. The waveforms aren’t centered on the zero line.

Sometimes this is simply low frequency rumble in the room, or a dc offset. You can fix this by careful application of a precision filter, such as ReaFIR.

    Thanks! How did you determine the undesirable frequency?

      looking at the waveform it was a long cycle so I knew it would have to be a low frequency. It was also inaudible unlike a ground loop hum, so had to be below my own hearing.
