I hate to ask about this, but I thought there was going to be a notation editor in 5.1. If it’s there, I don’t see it, but I also haven’t RTFM, either. (Read The Manual)

Hi Marc – sorry for the delay, I only just saw this now. I’m not privy to internal dev strategy but I’ve been carefully watching dev updates on scoring in different threads. Unless I’ve missed an important update, the most recent info I have is that the Lua version of a score editor briefly introduced in 5 was pulled when devs realized a more integrated and extensible version was both desirable and do-able. Schwa has indicated that he’s actively working on it and it is planned for a post-5.1 release. We’re of course crossing our fingers that this could means 5.2 although I’d caution that this statement as worded is clearly not a promise of that. But they’ve now put significant development time in and my feeling is there’s real intent to get this out asap.

(I’m sure the devs will correct me if I’ve got anything wrong)

Any chance you could post this video with a higher resolution? 360p is just too small to see any detail.

It’s 1440p, try refreshing the page.

What tool do you use for writing metadatas ? (comments, BWF..)

There are many available, I’ve been testing Kid3 and BWF MetaEdit for mac. Both are free. I am undecided on which is better. Reaper can read data added by either, but the apps won’t see meta created on the other.
