How to set up track layout change by double-clicking using the cycle action editor and mouse modifiers.

I like to do this to organize big projects. Tracks go into folders and now folders are easily seen in the mixer.

Try a sidebar layout for your folders and you’ll be able to spot them instantly in the mixer.

This is awesome. Thank you. I’m new to Reaper (after 10+ years on Logic) and was looking for a way to basically have two default themes (in both the TCP and the Mixer), based on if a track was selected or not. My idea is that I want all my not-selected tracks to have a fairly small and minimal layout, but for any selected tracks to automatically expand into a larger and more feature laden layout (and for it to be linked between the TCP and the Mixer). What you’ve demonstrated here definitely isn’t exactly what I’m after, but it’s the closest I’ve found! Thanks!

just looked in the mouse modifiers and it doesn’t look like it can be exactly the same as you want. Can change behavior of double-click only.

When I go into Screensets/Layouts my Action #1, #2 etc. do not have Ctrl + 1, Ctrl + 2 etc. showing. Why?
I have installed the SWS-Extension which is showing.

Where do I get the track layout options shown? My only options are 150%_A, 150%_B, etc. SWS is installed.

It depends on the theme you’re using. With Default 6 you can configure 3 layouts in the Theme Adjuster. Default 7 doesn’t have that function yet.
