I’ve been editing a lot from my old MacBook lately and to maximize the editing workspace, something I’ve found to really help is to collapse the Track Control Panel (TCP) to gain a couple inches of arrange view.

You can easily drag it back or load a screenset to reset the position if you need to see the main toolbar or tracks. Double-clicking usually works to toggle the normal/collapsed state.

Bonus tip – You can collapse the folders list in the Media explorer (double click to reset).

Another bonus tip – you can toggle the position of the fx browser list from Left to Top by double clicking the edge.
