First of all, thank you for all this information. It is very helpful.

    Custom Seek Playback
I’ve had this working great with my previous setup. ATI GTX970 on a 4k monitor which was 3840×2160 resolution. I just upgraded to an ATI GTX1060 and a 5k2k monitor which has resolution of 5120×2160. When I make the window full screen, the “Custom Seek Play” doesn’t work. It plays the first few frames and then it freezes the video until I let go of the key. If I make Reaper 1/2 the monitor screen, it works again. I’ve tried switching the playback engine from: DirectShow EVR through all the options but it still freezes.
I’m guessing it’s a Reaper Refresh Issue, that it can’t handle refreshing so many pixels? Do you know if there is somewhere else I might adjust to see if it works?
