Weaponiser from Krotos Audio is the ideal tool for building unique and complex layered gun sounds. With multiple samplers, integrated synthesizers, timing adjustments and built-in FX, Weaponiser is a one-stop-shop for creating and triggering projectile weapon sound effects.

Weaponiser also includes an excellent library of samples and presets to get you going quickly.

Used as a virtual instrument you can trigger the full layered sound, or each layer individually with separate stereo outputs for Onset, Body, Thump, and Tail.

In the video you’ll see the basic overview, exploring some presets, and how a custom gun sound can be made.

I didn’t get into critiquing the plugin and workflow in the video, but I do have some small suggestions/feature requests for Krotos

– I’d like a way to not send the individual outputs to the master channel, and only use that for the library browser
– collapse/hide the library browser
– ducking/sidechain compression or voice priority so thump or tail could be lower in the mix when in burst mode vs single

If your line of work involves weapon sounds, I highly recommend checking out Weaponiser from Krotos!
