Boom sent me their new LiftFX instrument so let’s see what it can do.
LiftFX is an instrument plugin for easily integrating complex risers, downlifters, and other transition fx into your electronic music projects. It has a great library of presets and simple controls for easily adjusting.
The main benefit of this plugin is that it saves so much time and energy. When I think about how I would approach building these transition fx from scratch, I know it might take me 30-40min to design and mix all the layers, and then it would still be pretty inflexible to use again in other projects.
My favorite feature is that I can lock the direction and duration and browse presets for different sounds.
