In this video we’re taking a look at a JSFX plugin by Geraint Luff called MIDI Gate. It is a MIDI triggered gate or mute which has several creative applications including rhythmic gating and glitch sequencing.
Manually install to REAPER’s Effects folder, or use ReaPack to manage the install and updates.
Once installed you’ll find the plugin in the JS folder.
I recommend routing audio through this plugin on it’s own track to avoid the gate triggers from activating virtual instruments.
