I got an email this week from Patrick who wanted a faster way to add notes to the MIDI editor with set velocities.

This is what I came up with: 4 actions assigned to number keys that insert notes at the cursor, with 127, 100, 76, and 36 velocity. You can edit to any velocity as shown in the video.

So rather than setting the velocity before inserting a note, or editing after, you just point the mouse and press the number key 1-4.
It takes some getting used to but it works really well.

Extract the zip
Copy the scripts to your scripts folder
load the scripts to the action list (reascript Load button)
import the .keymap file to the action list MIDI section (bottom left import button)
