There are tons of great free plugins in REAPER’s exclusive JS format. You can find them in the forum and in the stash.
In this quick tutorial you’ll learn how to install and access them in REAPER.
Text version:
After downloading a JS plugin, add the files into the Effects folder of REAPER’s resource folder, then scan for new plugins.
You can quickly find the resource folder from REAPER in the options menu, “Show REAPER’s resource path in explorer/finder…”

I downloaded a bunch of dll’s from Bruce Wiggins, but where do I put these? I figured out where to put thejsplugins – not the dll’s – for example one of them is in a folder called “WigWare-PC-Plugins-x64” and one file out of the 12 is “WigAmbiDec_1o_GUI.dll”.where do I put these?
I can only guess that those are VST plugins. No instructions on Bruce’s site?
Correct, no instructions for where to put the VSTplugins.
Solved. Reaper “preferences” menu, “VSTPlugins”. Create path for wherever I downloaded them or placed them, scan and load up in Reaper. I’ll try tonight
I would put them where the other VST plugins on your system are. Reaper should show you that path. Best not to spread things out all over the system.
Clear and concise. Thanks.
