Latch Preview is the new automation mode added to REAPER in version 5.22. When used in a cycle action it is incredibly fast to make many static changes in a section based workflow.
In this example I’m working on a song but the same can be used for audio post on tv or film, making quick changes between scenes.
Installing the cycle action:
Open Cycle Action Editor from Extensions menu
Click on import/Export button
Import into section ‘Main’…
Choose file (download here)
Apply
Open Action List and search for ‘cycle’
Assign it to a key of your choice (I use P)
