I have “Little AlterBoy” and it also seems to have a DC offset.
I found “JS: Apple 12-Pole Filter” HP 72db slope à 0% (20 Hz) more efficient than “JS: DC Filter”

I’m wondering when would someone use these plugins? Can you give us some examples please?

You know how people say a plugin has character or is clean, transparent etc, this is one way to prove that.
The analyzers are also helpful for times you sense something but can’t reliably identify an issue, like a ringing sound, clipping, or noise.

With the Oscilloscope it can be interesting to see what different attack times on a compressor actually does to the waveform.
