Lyric videos are a great way to promote your music on YouTube. You see many Hardcore, screamo and pop punk bands doing this to promote their new albums and there’s no reason any indie artist couldn’t give this a try themselves. 

 

With REAPER 5’s video editing capabilities, a promotional lyric video with moving background and animated text can be made relatively simply in a couple of hours. The workflow tips in this tutorial will save you a lot of time and frustration.

    Interesting! Is there a way to make words show sideways or upside down, or would one have to get AfterEffects to achieve that?

      It’s not something I’ve been able to figure out reliably yet. We can rotate video clips or images easily in the source properties. video on that.
      But doing it with the video processor makes some weird glitches.

    Is it possible to work with non latin language like arabic, hebrew, russian?
