Toontrack EZDrummer2 is a fantastic tool for home studio songwriters. With up to 32 outputs it’s quite flexible when it comes to mixing.
In this video I’ll show you the basic steps to setting up multichannel routing for EZDrummer 2, as well as the REAPER Track Template that I use which saves considerable time and effort.

This is a great video and has really helped me out with the routing in Reaper.
One thing that I can’t get my head around though is that if I make the EZ Drummer track the folder track then all of the other channels go dead. What is the best way around this so I can keep all of the drums in a folder track situation in Reaper?

It can’t work like that. Folder tracks receive from the child tracks so can’t send to them. have to make a “Drums” Folder with the MIDI track and Audio tracks inside.

did you know that forum member “godprobe” made a lot of MIDI Note Maps for Toontrack drum libraries, including a Excel spreadsheet? Not necessarily up-to-date, but very useful though.
