How to get set up with SHOUTcast and how to use the ReaCast plugin in REAPER to broadcast audio from your session to the internet.
The ReaCast plugin is included with REAPER since version 5.50.
ReaCast connects to the SHOUTcast server to broadcast your audio over the internet.
Some uses: Radio station; podcasting; virtual attended mix sessions; live event streaming

cheers! i finally got it working – it wouldn’t connect at first, but it did when i had filled all the boxes (server description, genre etc.) – i’m on windows 7 64bit
I have made an on purpose video about https://youtu.be/zMlfFQoL580
Although I’m studying some system to filter out clients, by login and password.
Yes it’s possible through Apache or Nginx, but’s nerdy way to do things, not certainly at the hands of many audio engineers.
It should be developed something direclty in repaer for this. Kind of ReaCast, directly connectable through browser, with the option to give a login and password for the specific client
There is no Shoutcast mac server, right? Any tips on how to broadcast a Reaper project from a Mac computer?
Thanks
