    Re. Question #1, check out ADSR Sample Manager app ($ = free!). It auto-tags whatever audio files you point it at, creating a searchable database. You can also preview the files and change/add tags if you want. It perhaps falls outside of the purview of Jon’s Reaper Blog but I found it way more helpful than the Media Explorer.

      that’s another one I’ve been meaning to check out but never had the time. I was told today about LoopCloud from Loopmasters. It’s pretty decent as well, and free. Maybe I’ll ‘shootout’ those two apps

      I’ve featured Soundly before here in the metadata editing video.

    Thanks Jon – I’ve been hunting for something like the ADSR product for a while. LoopCloud tries very hard to sell you things, and Soundly was limited in its User Tagging capabilities, if I remember. ADSR Sample Manager has neither of these issues, plus a lively dev/community relationship and auto-tagging to get you started! A comparison video would be awesome.
