Exporting MIDI from a REAPER Project, as individual files or the entire project. What works and what doesn’t.
TL;DR
- Export individual files from inside the MIDI editor with action “Export contents as .MID”
- single file export will use item take name + new file name.
- Export full project as a single MIDI file from main File menu “Export Project MIDI”
- Project MIDI export will be all or selected tracks consolidated (no gaps).
- Project MIDI export can include tempo map and project markers
- Project MIDI export will not include take markers or regions.
